About this vendor

Situated in the heart of Waikerie, about 200km from Adelaide; the Waikerie Hotel is a modern architectural delight. Perching itself in the town centre, you will be instantly captivated by the opulent, handcrafted stone masonry wrapping itself around the building. The incredible structure is purely a lesson in blending historical architecture with modern engineering!

Recently renovated, the Hotel pairs a stylish and contemporary charm with a versatile, adaptable space. Simply speaking, the venue allows you to hold a wedding of almost any size without sacrificing any of the designer details or losing any of that intimate ambience a wedding naturally creates.

The professional and passionate staff at the Waikerie Hotel will offer you a complete and personalised wedding experience. With a range of pre-set packages and the ability to tailor a package for your needs, the only problem you’re likely to face is which rustic, culinary delight you’d like to offer your guests!

A little on your approach – My aim is to make sure your function is as stress free and enjoyable as possible. I pride myself in creating a stylish and memorable event with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail.

Favourite quote about your work- “Only a life lived to the service of others is worth living” – Albert EinsteinSmall Talk

Best wedding related tip – DIY Brides… Ask for help! Do not attempt to do everything yourself, you will only end up stressed and not enjoying the experience.

Next big wedding trend – Donut Walls – apparently these things are gaining popularity as we speak, especially the Nutella donuts.

Favourite thing about your work – Building the trust of the bride to turn their dreams into reality and then seeing the look on their face when the space is transformed into their very own Wedding Reception.

Best song for a first dance – I think any song that you and your partner can relate to and has a meaning for the both of you, the day is all about you so choose what you like.

Last meal on Earth – Mongolian Beef with Fried Rice from the Golden Palace in Renmark.

Karaoke song request – The Gambler – Kenny Rogers. Everyone will end up singing along with you and really let’s face it, it doesn’t matter how bad or good you are at singing when it comes to that song!

3 things you would take on a deserted island – The biggest box of matches I could find; I sure as hell don’t want to rub two sticks together to create fire. A big sharp knife; to I could cut branches to make my bed, shelter and a spear. A boat; after all the hard work I could just jump in my boat and whizz home when I’m done with being on my own.
